2026 Award Categories

 

STEM Excellence Award
Recognising individuals, teams, or organisations that have made outstanding contributions to STEM education. This award celebrates innovative programs, teaching strategies, or initiatives that enhance STEM learning and inspire students and educators alike.
 

Innovator of the Year Award
Celebrating visionary minds who have developed breakthrough technologies or tools that transform STEM teaching and learning. This award focuses on innovation in ed-tech solutions, platforms, or products that push the boundaries of STEM education.
 

Student-Centric Award
Recognising educators or programs that prioritise student engagement, participation, and learning outcomes in STEM subjects. This award celebrates initiatives that place students at the centre of technology-enhanced STEM learning experiences.

  • Nominee's name
  • Contact details
  • Award category (the award you are applying for)
  • A ~250-word statement or a ~2-minute video explaining why you are a worthy recipient
  • Supporting materials, such as photos, samples, or videos (if applicable)

Terms and Conditions

  • Applications close on 23 October 2026.
  • Entrants may apply for more than one award category.
  • Judging will be overseen by a committee of senior staff members and Dr. Steve Mackay – Founder of IDC Technologies.
  • All award finalists will be notified prior to the event and must be willing to attend the LearnTech Conference & Exhibition in-person on 26th November 2026. 
  • Winners will be announced during the event.
  • Please note that all finalists and winners are required to be registered attendees of the event.
