We are pleased to share the highlights and memorable moments from the High Voltage and Arc Flash Conference held in Auckland on the 5th and 6th of June 2024.

The conference welcomed participants from as far north as Houhora and as far south as Timaru, encompassing a diverse range of engineering professionals from New Zealand's largest organisations.  

The event's success was reflected in the high levels of engagement and positive feedback from delegates. As one participant aptly put it, "The conference was very professional yet relaxed, making it easy to talk to the speakers during breaks."

Keynote Speakers 

Among the highlights were keynote sessions by renowned experts such as:

  • Terry Becker, P.Eng., CESCP, IEEE Senior Member, and one of North America's foremost experts in electrical safety, who provided critical insights into arc flash hazard change management.
  • Antony Giacomin from TJ|H2b Analytical Services, whose talk on the condition assessment of HV equipment via oil testing sparked lively discussions and engagement and was rated the most valuable session by delegates.
